Generating a QR Code

1. On the left hand menu, selectThe QR Code dialog box is displayed.

2. Key in the URL (website) of the page you want your QR code to open.

3. Background color and code color is available If you want to apply a specific color to the QR code. By default, the generated QR code is Black with White background.

4. Status should be active for the QR Code to work.

5. An Expiration Date can be set to the QR Code. 

6. Click on Generate QR code. The QR code will be ready to use in your design.

To insert to the page, click and drop in the desired portion of the spread.

Fun Fact

QR Code stands for Quick Response Code. It’s a type of 2D barcode made up of black-and-white squares arranged in a grid. When scanned by a smartphone or QR reader, it instantly directs users to digital content like websites, contact info, or files.

Most smartphones can scan QR codes directly using the camera app. If not, third-party apps are available.
