The Frame Properties tool in the Entourage Yearbooks Designer allows you to view and adjust the settings of individual frames on your yearbook pages. Whether you're positioning photos, adjusting frame sizes, or setting up portrait templates, Frame Properties gives you more precise control over your page layout.

Accessing Frame Properties

Step 1) Open your page in the Designer.

Step 2) Right-Click on the photo frame or shape you want to adjust.

Step 3) In the right-click menu, select Frame Properties 
 

Frame Tag and Position

These settings help identify frames and are especially useful when working with portrait layouts.

Frame Tag: Assigns a specific type to a frame, such as Name, Photo, Custom, or Cover Photo. These tags help identify how the frame is intended to be used.

Position: Allows you to enter a profile number to associate the frame with a specific portrait position.

Frame ID and Preview URL

These fields provide technical information about the selected frame.

Frame ID(s): Displays the unique identifier assigned to the frame.

Preview URL: Displays the image preview link associated with the frame.

Most users will not need to modify or reference these fields during regular yearbook design.

Frame Size and Placement

These settings allow you to precisely control where a frame appears and how much space it occupies.

X: The horizontal position of the frame on the page, measured in inches.

Y: The vertical position of the frame on the page, measured in inches.

Width: The width of the frame in inches.

Height: The height of the frame in inches.

These settings are particularly helpful when you want multiple frames to have consistent sizes or align precisely across a page.

Rotation and Skew

These settings control the angle and appearance of your frame.

Rotation: Rotates the frame by a specified number of degrees.

Skew X: Adjusts the horizontal slant of the frame, measured in degrees.

Anchor

The Anchor setting determines how a photo is positioned within its frame.

For example, selecting Bottom Right uses the bottom-right corner as the photo's alignment reference.

This setting can be helpful when adjusting how a photo fits or is positioned within a frame.

Frame Insets

Insets control the spacing inside a frame.

Inset Top: Adjusts the spacing at the top of the frame.

Inset Right: Adjusts the spacing on the right side of the frame.

Inset Bottom: Adjusts the spacing at the bottom of the frame.

Inset Left: Adjusts the spacing on the left side of the frame.

All inset measurements are entered in inches.

Insets can be useful when you want additional space between a frame's contents and its edges.

Upscale with AI

The Upscale with AI option allows you to enhance an image's resolution when additional image quality is needed.

Saving Your Changes

Once you've finished adjusting the frame settings, click Update to apply your changes.

If you do not want to apply any changes, select Close.
