When using the comment tool in the designer, you may notice that removing the text inside a comment does not remove the pin itself. This article explains the correct way to get rid a comment pin so it no longer appears on your ladder.

Steps to Remove a Comment or Annotation Pin 

• Go to a specific page
• Double Click the pin on the page to open the comment.
• Delete the text inside the comment and use delete key in your keyboard

• You can remove the text entirely but it will retain the annotation pin.
• To remove the pin from your sight, you can do it by going to View → uncheck “Comment”

You may also move the comment pin away from the ladder. Please note that it will not appear in your printed yearbook.
