What Pages Should Advisors Design vs Assign?
As an advisor, it is important to share the design responsibilities. Collage pages, autographs, club and sports pages & many more can be shared with your yearbook team! But there are pages that only the advisor should work on since some pages are much more integral than others.
One of the pages the advisor should design would be the “People Pages” or the student portrait pages. These pages are extremely important since they are the formal photos and names. You wouldn't normally want to give this job to a student due to the fact that it is too high a risk for issues if a student is left out or a name is misspelled.
Another page the advisor should design would be the student ads. These pages are purchased from parents, so it is a big responsibility to make sure they are all approved and placed in the book by the advisor.
The Principals Page should be designed by the advisors as well, since it requires placing the words directly from the Principal.
If adding a directory to the book, the advisor should add those pages to the book as well
The other pages that should be assigned to editors would be pages like sports, candid collage pages, baby photo pages, year in review pages, etc.
Sharing is caring!
