Administrators have complete access to all areas of the yearbook project.

Management Capabilities
Administrators can:

  • Manage all users
  • Set and update deadlines
  • Approve pages
  • Adjust store settings
  • Change Editor & Staff permissions
  • Submit the yearbook for production

Ideal Role
This role is best suited for advisors, administrators, or lead coordinators who oversee the entire yearbook project.

Editor

Design and Editing Permissions
Editors can create, edit, and manage pages using the EDO Designer.

Limitations
Editors cannot approve the yearbook for production or submit it.

Ideal Role
This role is typically assigned to teachers, staff members, or advanced students who assist with page design and layout.

Staff User

Limited Permissions
Staff users have restricted access focused on content contribution.

What They Can Do

  • Upload photos and content for review

Restrictions
Staff users cannot make design changes or approve pages.

Ideal Role
This role is perfect for students, parents, or volunteers who help with photo uploads and content collection.

Managing User Access

You can manage user roles and permissions at any time by following these steps:

  1. Go to Dashboard
  2. Select Manage
  3. Click Manage Users

4. Choose a user’s name

5. Select the appropriate role from the User Type dropdown menu

Changes will take effect immediately.

Why User Roles Matter

Understanding and assigning the correct user roles helps:

  • Protect project settings
  • Prevent accidental changes
  • Streamline collaboration
  • Keep the yearbook production process on track
