Follow the steps below to add a gradient fill to a shape in EDONext. These shapes can be used as page embellishment, placed behind text boxes, or enlarged to create a gradient background. 

Step 1) Click on the shape on your page you want to add a gradient fill to so it is highlighted in red:

Step 2) Click on Fill in the top tool bar and then click the + button in the custom section

Step 3) Next, in the new color section, click Gradient

Step 4) Now you can select 2 colors for your gradient by selecting the two fill buttons. When you are happy with your color choices, you can also change your gradient between linear or radial, name your color and click Add to save your color. 

Step 5) Your shape will now be your new gradient fill and you will be able to find your gradient to use again under custom colors. 

Step 6) if you would like to use your gradient as a background, you can drag the blue circles around the shape to extend it to the size of your page"
