Follow the steps below to add a gradient fill to a shape in EDONext. These shapes can be used as page embellishment, placed behind text boxes, or enlarged to create a gradient background. 

 

Step 1) Click on the shape on your page you want to add a gradient fill to so it is highlighted in red:

Step 2) Double click “frame settings” on the right page menu:

Step 3) Click the drop down next to the fill color and select “custom”

Step 4) Click the new “edit” button next to the drop down arrow:

Step 5) in the color settings pop-up, select the dropdown arrow next to the color type and then select “gradient”

Step 6) You can now select your two colors for the gradient by selecting the drop down arrows next to the start and end colors:

You can also change the gradient type, location, an angle to your desired settings. 

Step 7) Your shape on the page will now reflect the gradient settings selected 

Step 8) if you would like to use your gradient as a background, you can drag the blue circles around the shape to extend it to the size of your page"
