Deep breaths! You're almost finished!
Table of Contents
Congratulations on wrapping up your yearbook project!
In this guide, we will go over how to properly approve your project for us to print.
Where to Start:
To begin the approval process, head over to the “Manage” tab, then click the "Approve for Production" button.
NOTE: Only Admin logins will be able to approve the yearbook for production. Editors and Staff will not have this button available.
Approving your books is a 5-step process that involves:
finalizing your cover if you haven't done so already
checking for any errors present on your pages
Setting the delivery schedule
payment for the books, which could include applying your online sales
and lastly, tying up loose ends and re-signing for next year.
Approving Your Cover:

The first step is approving your cover. At first, you will see what kind of cover you have, and what upgrades you have in your yearbook.
If you scroll down, you can see a 3d preview of your cover! Use this to gauge how the book will look front and back. You can disregard the spine in this preview, as the spine is unique to your book.
Scrolling down a bit further, you should see a plain preview of the front and back cover

After checking that the previews look okay, you can check the box and click "confirm and go to the next step".
Checking book content and errors:
This step involves scanning your pages for people data, approving all ads placed in the book, and fixing/dismissing any errors that appear in the book.
We will also ask you if you want to enable page numbering, which you can enable or disable.
Then we ask you to start a people check, which will scan your entire book and make sure that anyone in your people data is not missing.

If there are people missing, you can either check the page they should be on and confirm they are there, or you can ignore them.
This typically applies to people who were hand-placed instead of flown.
The next step is to make sure that all approved ads are placed in your book.
Once you confirm that everything has been placed, you can check the box, even if you do not have any ads.
Next, we need to check the pre-flight warnings that are on existing pages. How to Fix Pre-Flight Warnings
Warnings can consist of low-resolution images, text in overflow, and images not fully fit to the frame.
Go to the next step once everything in step 2 has been completed!
Delivery info:
Next, we need to confirm where these books will be shipped to, and when they should arrive. Be sure to triple-check that your address is correct to avoid any delays to your books. Please note that we cannot ship to P.O. boxes.

If you are running a bit late and need the yearbooks faster, you can select up to 5 rush days if you have a standard 4-week turnaround. Each rush day will cost an additional percentage of your total invoice, which will be shown on the right-hand side of each day.

For more information, or if you need a faster shipping date, please contact your Sales Manager or Account Manager. You can find their information under the Help tab, and click “Contact Support”.
Once we confirm our shipping address, it's time for the next step, which is confirming how many books you need, and how to pay for the books.
Payment for the books:
Here you will confirm the number of books. If you select a quantity of less than 50 pcs, there’s a notice that will notify you of an additional shipping fee.

You can adjust how many books you need using the provided drop-down. If you have online sales enabled, and have orders from your parents and staff, it will not let you order less than your total orders. This is also the step where you can take your online sales and apply them to your invoice. If there is still a balance left to pay, you can enter your credit card or check information, and save your payment information.
Once you're wrapped up with step 4, it's time for the last step.
Wrapping up our project for good!
Here we go over the general information for this account, and ask you a few questions regarding the next project, and how we are handling future sales. If we have School fulfilled sales enabled, you will want to turn on "post-approval sales" so that parents and students can buy from your inventory. After inventory sales run out, Entourage-fulfilled sales will kick in. For more information on inventory and post-approval sales, click these 2 guides below!
How to Enable Post-Approval Sales.

Next, we want to decide if we wish to store the book in our storage for next year, in case you need some photos or pages for another project.
We would also love to know who will be working with us next year, and how many more projects we want to sign up for next year.

The very last step we have is signing off on our project.
Check the boxes that show you have reviewed and confirmed that all the information in this project is correct.
You certify that you are authorized to approve this project for your Yearbook, and that you approve this content as the final project to print.

And you're all done!
